About

The Wrenfield Post is an independent local newspaper covering the market town of Wrenfield and the villages strung along the Ackerbourne valley. We report on the decisions made at the Guildhall, the shops opening and closing on Corn Street, the results from the recreation ground, and the hundred smaller things that make a place feel like home.

Our newsroom follows the council through budget season, tracks planning applications before they become building sites, and turns up to the school plays, the allotment shows, and the parish meetings that rarely make the regional papers. We believe a town governs itself better when it can read what its institutions are actually doing.

The Post carries no national wire copy and prints no syndicated columns. Every word is written for Wrenfield. If it happened here, we think it is worth getting right.
